The hardest part is saying goodbye...Suddenly three months feels like three years...
We will miss our "big kids" and all our grandkids. We love being part of their growth and know that three months later we will see so, so many changes. Thank God for internet photos and boy, are we going to try to get Skype up!
Thankfully, we stayed in a hotel last night so we could take a shuttle to the airport. You never know with Saskatchewan winters what you may face at 6 am. Simplifying life....
Airborne and on our way to Calgary first. It's fun to watch Allie's reaction to her first experience flying. She takes it very much in stride.
Gabriel, a seasoned airline traveller, makes his usual stop by the cockpit to chat with the pilots and check out how this particular aircraft is operated. We are grateful the pilots are so welcoming and accomodating-maybe this boy will fly some day...
Wish we had a longer stopover in Calgary to have coffee with our much loved "friends who are family".
